Harmony or Balance?
We hear of achieving ‘Balance” and “Life-work balance” but is balance really what we want to achieve? Isn’t balance a fixed word implying no motion? It represents equilibrium, a flat line. Look at scales. What happens when they are balanced? Nature and life exhibit motion, direction and cycles of life so why would we try to achieve something that just has no motion present?
