Dovetailing from last week, I'm going to ask for an action from you this week. I find other people are really fascinating, especially when we give them the opportunity to share their stories. The Innate Potential of Life
Isn't life amazing? The force that animates, unifies and organizes substances in such a way to create you? It is awe inspiring when we pause to give thought to just what it would take to develop "you" from two cells at conception to the multi-billion walking, breathing, thinking, feeling person you are. This force innately knows. We don't teach it. It’s already present with life. So give thanks to this day. Row, Row, Row Your Boat
One of the things I love about grandchildren is that we get to revisit childhood rhymes. These stories take on new meanings as an adult with so many truths embedded within. I certainly didn't encounter the deeper meanings until a few years ago. My favorite to reference is: Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream. Replace "boat" as a metaphor for "life" and you get to row your life. Gently, not harshly. Be good to yourself.
