As November rolls around I am reminded of the heavy sacrifices others have made so we can live the way we do. Not only are the sacrifices born by those who serve in whatever form they are asked. The sacrifices are born by their families, as well. Each person who runs towards danger, makes life and death decisions to defend us, does all this work to make the world a better place so we don’t have to face the inhospitable conditions they do.
