While not fully correct in its description, the generalities are there. When I took my first neuroscience course in the 1980's we generalized actions in our brain as "reptilian". The reptilian brain located at the brain stem is the oldest and most primitive, controlling basic functions like breathing, heart beat, temperature regulation, and muscle tone. The Towel Lesson
In last week's blog I talked about doing it once and ended with “This process of completions reminded me in asking others to do the same, especially if they are using something of yours." I am reminded of kids' rooms - especially some teens. I do remember coming into a bedroom of a teen and backing out. I wasn’t even going to clean it. There was no floor space to clean anything. It was disgusting. We had a conversation but there was that independent defiance of the teenager “thing” going on. Part 3 of 4 Ever been stuck and not able to move forward? I have and I've found it's more often than not related to a number of things. We've looked previously at Clarity and Limiting beliefs. Implementation is about organizing your day with a specific micro step taking you in the direction of your goal. The micro steps are actions: The things you do that accumulate over time, moving you forward. In the example from my blog on running we looked at Clarity.
