I just finished two very different, yet similar locums over 6 weeks in the early fall. For those unfamiliar with the term, “Locum” is a coverage doctor who sees patients when their principal doctor is away. This is a relatively new experience since having my own practice and being in the reverse role of hiring locums for approximately 25 years. This is where I love coaching groups through tapping or forwarding them off to RIM® techniques. There are lots of facilitative techniques that allow us to "reacquaint" ourselves with our true selves. Running on Reflex
Ever wondered how much we run our day on reflex? I call reflex the ongoing habits to which we are not cognitively mindful. We get up, usually the same way to perform the same routines in getting ready for our day which was much like the day before. Yet we expect something different. Reflexes do not involve much effort in thinking because they're automatic, hence reflex.
