Trap 4: Lack of movement or it’s opposite, over training. We need movement to stimulate the brain and body. Sitting all day long is not conducive to our health so get moving. If you sit, get up a few minutes per hour and stretch the opposite positions. Get activity as play or formally in a gym. It matters not how it occurs, just that it does. Simplify by remembering you need different elements in your activity; strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. More recent evidence shows that you do not need extensive exercise to see benefits. Intensity training like ladders or Tabata’s using our larger muscle groups can benefit us in as little as 20 minutes.
